Looking to get my son an iPad for Xmas but not technically minded. Any advice??

Do you have an apple shop near to you? If you do go in and take a look at the different iPads available.

It's lighter and smaller. Still good enough though.

iPad mini would be fine. If he'll want to download films and stuff, you'll need a greater memory version.

Also, you can get a cellular or wifi version. He'll only really need the wifi version.

John Lewis have excellent insurance policies for electronics.

Not sure if Costco sell them, but they do too.

I have the iPad mini and it's brilliant, fits nicely into my handbag, I can play games and watch films on it.
