We will be observing it at my work as usual.

I've never known anyone not observe it there fortunately.

It's my day off and I will be in the house alone, but at 11am I will stop what I am doing and remember for two minutes.

Lest we forget

My eldest has been given permission to wear his Army Cadet uniform to school. His poppy is attached to his regiment badge on his beret

Shame they didn't allow this when I was at school, being a wind up merchant I would have enjoyed annoying people by wearing the uniform.

We live in a military town & I have a long line of soldiers in my family. Our school is very good in supporting his cadet activities - they gave him authorised absence to plant trees with Princess Anne a few weeks ago

Will always observe this tradition regardless of what anyone else thinks. I'm not proud of everything this Country has done but I am proud of the people that have served it.

My workplace didn't last year and they tried to put calls through to me! This year I am going to pop out the office for 10 minutes instead. Grrrr.

I've not been wearing a poppy for the past few years because it has seemed so prescribed. I'm more than happy to put some money in the collection box and not take a poppy.

I don't care if people observe the 2 minutes silence or not, it's their choice.

I will be carrying on our family tradition. At 11pm I will be in the town centre next to our war memorial. I will listen to the service, watch the parade and the two minutes silence. Then lay a poppy wreath to honour my uncle and the rest of the fallen heroes. My dad always did this and I've carried on since his death
