Carex then Nivea in shower moisturiser , got to be careful with that stuff though, makes the bath slippy, had a few oops moments getting out of the bath, but the sink is still on the wall.... As yet ! |

I use shower gel in the shower and most often use palmolive, the purple one, coconut and milk honey i think it is, but ive found a lovely one in lidl which i sometimes swap too.
In the bath i only use sanex as i started suffering with bouts of b.v, and i am very heavy handed with my bubble bath so gp said it could be due to that, been using it a year and no more bv. I dont like the bubbles tho so i tend to put it in after the water has ran.
I only wash my face with shampoo too. Wash my hair every day so use it then and of a nite i usually have a bath minus hair washing so then it will be the sanex in the water and a facial wipe when i get out.
I think i mite havd OCD lol. |

Colgate whitening is all ive used for years.
Persil bio for my whites. Ariel colour and style liquid for my colours and sometimes will swap and use lidl formil colour liquid to give a differant smell. And only ever use lenor, the blue one for clothes and the yellow one for bedding.
God damnit i really am OCD. |

Yeah the mint is great and tingly (mind you, your pics and profile make me tingle)
The grapefruit one is so strong that the fragrance can be smelt throughout the flat |

"I love coal tar soap.
Do they still sell that ..not seen it in years but I don't use soap anymore it dries my skin"
It's really hard to get - we used a tar based shampoo that was great for the scalp but can't get it for love or money (well you can online at £20 a bottle!!) now got something similar on prescription |

"I love coal tar soap. "
I love the smell of coal tar and carbolic soap, but I only use it on my hands.
For the shower it's whatever smell takes my fancy and bath has to be something not too scented. Can't stand coconut smelling products or mint or tea tree. |

Paul has really sensitive skin so only uses sanex zero and lush's honey I washed the kids soap
I'm a bit of a brands tart but I like premium brands as the smell lasts longer, so in the shower my choices are soap and glory or champneys and currently using Joules- although not as keen on that.
In the bath is a lush bubble bar or bomb and lush soap |

Soap - all the other bullshit products are designed to leave a coating on your skin wrecking it's natural balance.
Soap is an astringent simply removing the dirt and waste products leaving nothing behind.
Same as hair products - nothing more than a coating on something that is already dead.
Actually does nothing beneficial other than emptying your pockets |

Shower gel here. I like Lush soaps but don't really like having soap hanging around in a dish so a bottle of gel it is. I usually go cheap and cheerful with whatever's on special offer and smells nice because w get through loads of it - so Original Source or Radox or whatever is £1 in Boots at the time. |

Tell that to my hair if I don't use conditioner then try to get a comb through it. I need that artificial coating to make it look good. |

There's so many reasons - but mainly most won't wait the necessary time for your own body to stabilise - it can take weeks.
Hence the billion pound industry telling you that you need xyz to smell wonderful and have silky soft ABC.
Whatever floats your boat tbh -
Just saying |

From your comments that hair products do nothing for your hair. You would say differently if you could see the difference products make. |

I know what difference they are perceived to make.
Try allowing your body to do what it's designed to do instead.
Brush you hair for 100 strokes (this distributes your natural sebum) giving you naturally glossy hair.
Natural soap to removes only dead skin and dirt not your skins oils then leaving a residue - it might smell nice but that residue prevents your skin from shedding properly and blocks pores.
There's plenty more the manufacturers won't tell you as they all want their millions to keep rolling in.
But if you like it - feel free to give them your money |
