I posted a week or so ago about needing a personal day BADLY. I took it. I also took some of your advice and applied for some more jobs. I have an interview for a high school life skills teacher (YAY!) on Monday at 10:00. Wish me luck! |

Thanks! Right now, I teach in a private school and it just doesn't pay enough. I am over-educated for my position there and I just need something better. |

Good luck for the interview. I hope you get it and it broadens your work experience. Try not to think about the money too much though during the interview as it may take your focus on the work related reasons you'd like the job.
Fingers crossed |

Thanks. $ is important though. Student loans are taking way more money than I can afford them to. This is pretty much a perfect job for me. |

Money is very important - I was just trying to get you to put that out of your mind while you interview as it could distract you a little. |

It is great that it is the perfect job for you...but....once you have established in their minds that you can do the job remember that the interview is not about how you feel about the job. The real focus today is on whether they can work with you and believe you will fit in. All the candidates will have the basic competencies, the winner will be the one who is the best fit. Its not really about luck, but good luck anyway.
