Aw, train them to chirp at the fridge opening. Ours did that anyway actually, without training.

I adore guinea pig chirps! They are such cute little creatures. I was most upset when a friend emailed me a picture of a deep fried battered guinea pig in a South American diner

Not all guinea pigs chirp. I mean literally chirp like a loud annoying bird.

Most just make quiet sounds.

I do not love guinea pig chirps when i'm trying to sleep!

What you want as a pet is a chinchilla, they're nocturnal, quite, fur so dense no pests can live on them and if you start from day one they love being gently stroking.

Have chickens as well for eggs obviously..give them burial when they shuffle off the immortal coil as well.
