The worst is I get a look from women who are supposedly looking for black guys, then I say hello, but they seem to just do one.

If you find it hard to come across on the net why not attend a social or club plenty of them around MK. Then perhaps your better in person. |

Not really. That was obviously something you wouldn't do (at least I thought it was obvious) in the pub. My point was that it IS what you're doing here.
And yet the two situations are reasonably similar - so why treat them different? You keep saying "online is harder" but I don't see how - in fact I'd argue that it's easier, because you can take 2 minutes to think before every single thing you say - if you tried that in the pub they'd think you were a bit weird!

Unfortunately OP, there's no magic formulae for creating a message to get a response. If there was, there wouldn't be a thread like this every day asking for help.
There are a few things to keep in mind though:
Firstly, if you want to pique somebody's interest... then be interesting. The last thing you want to do is what everyone else does.
Secondly, always include a face pic. It will certainly improve the chances of your message being opened.
Third, make sure that the message is long enough to not be read from just the preview. If it's not, there's no need to open it.
Finally, if you want an answer.... ask a question. NOT "fancy a fuck?", but something to start a conversation with.
