Just thought I'd mention this for those of us with kids or for those who are young at heart... we should get a good _iew of the Quadrantid meteor shower tonight, depending upon the weather and the amount of light pollution where you are.
Over the next day or so there's also a partial solar eclipse as well as the chance to see Jupiter and Uranus align - fnar fnar fnar!
The best time to see the meteor shower should be around midnight, and the partial solar eclipse should take place at around 09h00. |

No, that's why it's supposed to be good - provided you can see anything - because there'll be hardly any moon tonight.
So you're safe to be outside... just remember to stick to the roads! |
