Parboil them, fry gently in butter, add some honey towards the end. Awesome.

Liver or kidney... Bleurgh!
You do know kidney beans don't come from kidney, right? "
Yup... the broad beans chat made me think of picking out kidney beans in a chilli and then I progressed to the thought of steak pie only some fuckwit wants to ruin it by putting kidney in it! |

As someone already mentioned, I have problems with foods of certain textures, so mushrooms and anything with that texture is out.
The food I absolutely hate is whipped cream or anything creamy (like butter cream).

The not much I don't like and even if I'm not fussed about something theres probably a good chance I'd eat it rather than cook something else.. I tend to always say " I wouldn't have it again"..
However..I have one exception.. Anything that has Tarragon in it.
I love Herby or spicy things but I hate Tarragon and I prefer to avoid parsley if possible. |

Cheese of any kind. Just solidified vomit.
Hot chilli. Ruins food. Takes any flavour from the actual dish.
Pastry/cake. - indigestion and heartburn
Coffee. Guaranteed to induce vomiting.

I think it's like soylent green. I don't really want to know anymore details about it. I know it squeaks when you bite into it. Polystyrene is far tastier. |

Tofu is the same as bean curd (made from soya beans). It is high in protein. I personally don't like the texture, usually. The only time I've ever eaten it with a good texture was while I was in China.
It doesn't really have much of a taste so what you eat it with is important.

Mushrooms - they grow where dogs piss on trees, and taste like it, too.
Dried apricots - if I wanted to eat what appears to be a dessicated scrotum, I'd go into the jungle.

It's better with plenty of black pepper. Failing that, HP sauce. You can eat anything with HP sauce. It's a universal constant. |

The really annoying thing about hating a herb is that very often a restaurant will put it in something such as a soup or whatever and don't mention it on the menu because they don't consider it a significant enough ing_edient to be worth mentioning..
and in the meantime your meal is fucked cos even if you complain and they do you something else everyone else has finished by then.
I've also had it turn up unknowingly in a chicken pie back in the days when i ate such shite, where it was massively overpowering the taste of anything else but was only deemed to be worthy of a small little mention in tiny text in the ing_edients list.
All that aggro cooking the rest of the meal but still I threw that nasty little fucker straight in the bin. |

I hate almost all vegetables - they smell disgusting - I know that's bad and unhealthy.
I like the smell of most fruit but can't bear the textures in my mouth so rarely eat it, and just drink juice instead.
Yes ... I know I'm weird before someone says so
But the very worst thing for me is tomato ketchup .... it's vile, looks and smells revolting ... makes me feel sick if someone else at the table has it. The way it dries on a plate - it really is the most foul concoction |
