When you have a social what do you talk about ? How much personal information do you say about yourself ? How long do they normally last ?
It is a little different then having a regular social/date with someone, And when single people meet couples do you feel like you're having a job interview, Or is that when you know the social is not going well 
I have never had a social apart from being in a club and within 10 minutes of chatting we were naked  |

I've had two socials, the first one we were fighting the urge to stop ourselves from getting on the table in Costa!! Not much was said but the eye contact said everything
The second I had, he chatted for England while I kept staring at him not believing my luck, seeing him again Sunday!! (Between snogs in the pub)
I've got another next week... I've checked the place out for Windows he can escape from if he gets bored! |

I take a clipboard with a list of questions for them to answer.
That takes about 15 minutes, another 15 minutes for me to check their answers and then it's time for me to go. |

I avoid this by not having socials. By the time i meet someone we normally have plenty to say as we would have been chatting for a long time. It works for me and no awkward silences during down time  |

I just talk and ask everyday questions I don't choose to meet people who don't want to give some of themself to the equation   |

I've had 2 socials 1 was with someone I had already met and we had decided to be friends so wasn't weird
The second felt like the most natural thing in the world we couldn't keep our eyes off each other and I'm sure the people in the pub were whispering about us being all over each other between staring lol meeting again this Sunday! |

I always have socials & Iv normally been chatting online lots before hand so I know if we have common ground. I'm a real chatterbox so I could feel the silence if needed , but so far so good.

I don't do socials, they feel like awkward interviews to me. Sitting there trying my hardest to be polite and interesting, and not sure whether I even want the job or not

I'm always really nervous on socials so I let "slonky the sock puppet" do all the talking for me.
Socials only last for a couple of minutes anyway so I don't really understand the questions OP. |

My last social was awful. In message we had a lot in common but in person all I got was one word answers and it was like pulling teeth and I can talk for England but there comes a point when u have to say it was nice to meet you but goodbye. |

I've only had a couple of socials. The last was quite recent and we didn't stop talking from the moment I said hello until I left him at the station. I had a lovely time. I don't have awkward silences,if I fancy someone I babble away. If I don't I babble away. |

I've never had any problems keeping conversation flowing.
Even if the other person is stultifyingly boring. My interested face is very convincing, apparently.
On the phone, it's a different story. Awkwardness, silences, then talking all over the other person. I suck at it. Autism spectrum, I suppose. |

I rarely have awkward silences. I'm excellent at talking absolute shit.
I find I struggle with those uninterested in engaging, however if they're trying somewhat then it'll be fine. Even shy people can try or make it obvious it's not a choice. |

I find socials quite nerve wracking, I tend to shiver and shake from nerves, but most of them have ended up with sex and repeat meets, so something must be going right. |

Nope I can't recall any awkward silence socials wise. If felt one coming I would just talk random shite for a while longer
However, if I ended up doing all the talking the person wouldn't be for me & vice versa I would imagine. |

I've only ever had an awkward silence once, when we'd got on well online but had nothing to say to each other. It was just a coffee in town though so I tried for about 20mins then made my excuses and went back to work. All the other times chatting has never been a problem. |

Now whether it's because I don't have a Scooby half time who is friends with who on here, if a few posts were subsequently removed or that I am just a bit durrr but I didn't have any idea.

No its not and I'm not replying to their post im replying to his, there is a huge difference from saying I am meeting Mr A or Miss B to moaning about how much a meet cost and it obv was the company. And was pretty obvious who he was getting at .

Now whether it's because I don't have a Scooby half time who is friends with who on here, if a few posts were subsequently removed or that I am just a bit durrr but I didn't have any idea.
