Been waiting all day and night for the program ",The Hunt " Sat down with a glass of red and can't find my fucking remote to turn the telly on. I've searched everywhere. Soooooo pissed off |

Mine doesn't have a visible button by there is a bit on the surround that has the standby symbol on it and if I touch it there it goes on/off.
It was there months before I noticed.   |

Get a child to show you how to switch it on. They always know. I had my tv for six months and never knew there was an on off button until we couldn't find the remote. Within seconds the tv was on |

If its anything like our TV we thought exactly the same, hunted for weeks for a button only to find at the bottom corner there was a "touch screen" type one it's invisible till you know where to look
And yes our then 5 year old showed us where it was x |

Not sure, but you can buy a new universal remote control from Argos, just point it at the telly and put the code in from the instructions for the make of telly. |

I googled - there are infrared enabled phones which will work with a bunch of compatible tv's.....who knew! |

I have you beat there, was about 2 years before I noticed the standby, volume and programme up and down on the front of my TV. The shame |
