My ex was over-the-top romantic and it made me cringe a bit as it never really quite seemed sincere. I'd rather have little glimpses of genuine heartfelt romance than a tidal wave of schmaltz. |

"I'd like some romance, petrified of love but romance is safe
I guess we all are petrified of love but that's a good things it's those who are dead to the thought of love..."
Not thought of it that way |

I just want something real. Not contrived.
Romance can be very simple and low key- it doesn't have to be big to be meaningful.
Yes I love lillies- but walking my dog for me, when I had had a hard day, was more thoughtful x |

If we are not nervous of love we take love for granted...I'm scared of falling in love as I have had my heart ripped out and stomped on a few times...however my heart is open and not closed up sometimes people have a knack of bringing down our walks without trying because we want them to...like I said those who are completely dead to falling in love.. |

I like a little but of romance but not all the time, I wouldn't appreciate it if it was all the time. Paul does romantic gestures for me like having a bottle of wine chilled for when I get home from work rather than big gestures and I much prefer that.
I'm romantic back in that I'll give him a bj and not expect anything in return |
