I sat through Marley and Me not so long ago with Carambar Jr... we thought it was going to be a comedy not a rom com.
I hated it. So much so that I started thinking about which wall tiles I should get for my new bathroom, and whether the floor tiles should be the same colour or a different style.
There were no redeeming features about this film. There were no funny parts to it, the romance side was just mushy rubbish (not a bad thing considering Carambar Jr was watching it too!), there wasn't any violence... I was kinda hoping they'd all die in a big car crash - including that bloody dog. Argh, it was a complete waste of 1½ hours of my life! |

Pretty, narcissistic, shallow girl
Slightly dorky but decent guy
Guy worships girl, girl treats him like sh!t
Guy has to prove himself in a multitude of scenes to her lofty standards
Girl goes through a few learning experiences
Eventually guy proposes one one knee in a very public setting to great applause from strangers
Girl settles for him and they marry

I definitely don't I had to endure watching 'Letters to Juliet' or something like that in silence on a long haul flight (the tv was right infront of my face) without hearing a word I had worked out what happened and what was going to happen - it was that predictable...when it started playing again afterwards, I could of cried! |

Just make sure you rub your eyes with the correct hand - could be very painful otherwise. |
