Probably been done but technology and new games is changing all the time and I might not get a proper answer due to people's bias but....
PS4 or Xbox One, which should I get?
Have had xbox and ps1,2,3 before. |

If you like watching the Big Bang theory, Shelton had a major dilemma and went into depth about the merits of both, he chose the Xbox after much deliberation.
Also you can flip a coin and if you're disappointed with the result you get en you know to choose the other.
Personally we have Xbox ones in our house and we think they are the best all round console. |

Depends on your preferences and use of the system really. If it's for solid gaming then ps4 and if your looking for all rounder home entertainment the the X1. |

While I do love gaming I don't always get too much time to play, so yeah maybe the Xbox as an entertainment system would be the best choice. Plus it's got halo. |

Personally i would say Xbox
If your not bothered about best frame rates etc between the two, xbox. Most of us dont notice the difference between 1080, 900p etc
As from the 12th, you will have access to 100+ 360 games and more each month as backwards comp finally arrives.
If you get a gold membership, you get two free games a month, possible 4 as they do say the 360 future free games will all be backwards comp.
Much better service overall. |

It really depends on what games you want to play.
I have a PS4 so I can play Final Fantasy(I'm really cool like that) It's a good console with a lot of new games coming out.
But if you want to play Halo get the XB1 |

I have both but my answer is a resounding xbox1
For one reason alone
You have to install every game on both platforms , with some games at 18gb you can soon fill you hdd , with the ps4 the only option is to remove the factory fitted hss and install format a bigger hdd then transfer all you exsisting data .. The xbox one however allows u to run the games off and ext hdd i use a tishiba 4tb hdd so loads if space !!!  |

xbox one hands down, it has better online servers than ps and at christmas time they are making it backwards compatible so all your loved games from 360 will be playable on the one

I have the Xbox one, it's not a bad console never played the ps4 so cannot comment. As others have said the soon to be released backwards compatibility is going to encourage people to buy this now. For entertainment it's great can link with your PC for streaming of HD video also you can connect your sky/Virgin box through the HDMI port and use it to control your box via voice if you have kennect, you can even snap tv to the side so you can watch tv and play at same time. And with bluray it's good for watching bluray/DVDs. Lastly they do frequent firmware updates too. |

I've always been a PlayStation fan but decided to get the Xbox one a couple months back, worst decision Ever!! Too complicated. Not a games console bit more of a home entertainment system. PlayStation all the way  |

I've always gone with xbox, had an xbox and then the xbox 360, so I'll probably go for the xbox one when I upgrade. I do get the best of both worlds though as my brother has always gone with the Playstation machines. I stick with xbox because of the xbox exclusive games which I prefer to the Playstation exclusive games.  |

The voice control is very limited on the ps4. Still the better console though. The xbone is still a nice piece of kit though |

Have a look at the games put there n see which one has the most games you would like to play. Personally I'd go for the xbox one as it has the games that I want to play. FORZA and Halo games. Other big titles are across each platforms. |

I think this is the best answer by far. It's all about games and feature you want. Like for me I can now play fallout in a different room now that Xbox one streams to Windows 10 device. |

I would say if you want a great gaming machine with amazing blu ray then ps4.
I have all Ps machines an also xbox
So being a PlayStation fan I'd always choose it |
