Hi all need some help off you budding gamer's got an ext hdd for my xbox one formatted it went to move a game to it left it over night got up next day now hdd is on xbox its not recognizing it yrt its still plugged in
Any suddggestions ?? |

It could be that the file corrupted during transfer or that the hdd isn't compatible with the X1.
Best thing you could try is deleting the file from the drive and re-transfering, see if that helps. Would suggest not placing the hdd on the X1 to save it from overheating

Yeah just try another reformat. Our of interest, do you this via the console or using a separate hard drive caddy. As xbone runs a modified form of windows 10?? |

We unplugged the hdd and re connected it and xbox found it the game i was installing last night went from 9% yesterday to 78% today and said ready to start so played it for 40 odd minutes just weird got to keep unplugging |
