Following on from misscheeky dating chat I have a date with a lovely guy tonight .... he's travelling quite a distance knowing it's a DATE!! I'm so excited as he seems to be looking for the same as me...
BUT.. what should I wear? I want to look nice but down here Friday nights are rather laid back n casual. ...
Ladies... your help would be greatly appreciated
Men... I'd love to know what you like to see a lady dressed in for a dinner date please
I know I can you rely on my fab friends for help xx |

I personally would wear the following to such a date:
A cute, flowy dress that comes to just above the knee
Heels
Funky jewelry and a fun scarf (assuming the dress isn't some crazy pattern)
Hair down
But I'm not sure what your style is? Either way, that's my outfit of choice. Have a wonderful time!!!

I picked up on the 'Fridays are laid back'. Would jeans with heels work? With a nice top that could be a good compromise. Hair - nothing too 'done up', but nice makeup to accentuate your looks.
Have a lovely time and don't get too nervous or you won't eat...and don't drink too fast and get shit faced! |

"I want to go on a date
Wear a dress and heels
Xx
I'm doing another thread it's going to be a Sunday thing
I will keep my eyes peeled
"
Don't worry I haven't even had a date from it but it's been lovely seeing people getting excited...I'm a true believer in love and try and get others together |

"Whatever makes you feel good.
No point wearing something you don't feel comfortable in, it will spoil the date if you feel self conscious.
This "
This is true....xx |

Friday night is usually a bit dress down,
Depending on the place , I would suggest , leggings , jeans trousers . Nothing too over the top,
You also need to look at the place your going, if it's a McDonald's to say £60 a head it's fine , 60 to 150 , smart dress , 150 to 300 evening dress 300 a head plus ball gown , that's meal prices ..
The best dates I have had , are always. Bowling, pool or darts , you can get some food as well at the same time. And plenty to do without having to speak ( I usually mess it up when I speak like all men do ) I try to avoid dinner the first date , as it's always difficult to get conversation going , and keep it going . Drinking is worse there's only a limit how much fun you can hav in a pub with someone you just met
In Southampton they have a gay bar, that has cabaret on a Friday that's always a good night plenty to do and watch without having to chat
Cinema dates , are good , over knee skirt or dress, that is easy to pull so he can rest his hand on your leg , feeling tights or stockings. That winds me up so much when a girl does that can't concentrate on the film |

I worse a knee length dress, leather jacket, tights n ankle boots with heel.
He worse trousers n jumper.
We went to a pub on the seafront ...too many screaming kids for me personally lol...
We had a lovely evening and chatted none stop....but I had to admit towards the end of the evening that on reflection of all we had chatted about that I thought he was too busy with work because of the 200 mile distance I don't think we'd be able to progress to the possible relationship stage.
But he was understanding and very much the gentleman and walked me to my car ... xx
Thank you all my lovely fab forum friends for all your help and advice xx |
