British check on Sharm Airport security - means tighten up on luggage and body checks of passengers follows.
But what about some similar checks on the airport staff? They're Moslem, and very lowly paid - ideal ISIS recruiting material. |

Yes you are right, they should check all the 'moslem' staff and if any happen to be Christian or of any other faith then they are ok it's just the 'moslems'

The king James version got... Smoothed around the edges for a more modern belief system!.
I would also add that a primitive Muslim culture is much more likely to "follow ancient text" as you say, than a well educated,21 century cultured European or westerner! |

I work with a couple of these moslem/Muslim terrorists in waiting and they find it laughable in some contexts that the fanatics can find such loose connections to commands to kill. One quoted me as such a reading as the one previously posted which sounded quite violent and threatening until he then went on to qutoe the passage it was from which was from the midst of battle and basically said "you should kill all of our enemies". As in now,during this battle , not for ever after and throw in a few million non believers too.... |

Oh yes but there's context, were all taking it out of context .
Look the Qur'an and the bible are fundermentally violent religious books!... Yeah there's some very peaceful passages, way more than violent passages but that doesn't make it a peaceful book or a peaceful religion.
If you want a peaceful religion go and join the Jainists in India or the Quaker's or the Amish, there much more peaceful that Islam or Christianity, that's why you don't see Quaker's flying planes into buildings or Jainists shooting journalists for printing a picture or a parody! |

Not at all surprised to hear that the British are questioning security at Sharm El Sheikh airport in Egypt as it looks as if the Russian airliner that dropped out of the sky having just left Sharm, might have exploded in mid-air.
A few years ago we were in departures having had a nice holiday in Sharm. I realised I needed some money. At this point you should note that we had already booked in and passed through security.
Not being able to find a cashpoint I asked a Policeman. He asked me to follow him. He proceeded to take me down a long corridor and through several locked doors.
To my surprise I found myself at the main entrance where people were entering the airport to book into their flights. These people had not passed through security.
The Policeman pointed me towards a cashpoint and went for a fag. When he returned he took me back to Departures through the locked doors and then held out his hand for the obligatory bung.
It would have been very easy for someone who had just arrived at the airport, to pass me an explosive device, which I would have been free to take on the plane, as I had already cleared security.
I never gave I much thought at the time......... |
