The smell of wild herbs in an olive grove on a hot sunny day in Greece.
Drinking bowls of fresh coffee in a French vineyard at sun-up.
Crisp mountain air skiing in Switzerland on Christmas morning.
But the best ever? pure Scottish air and the smell of the rain rising up from a pine forest on one side of me and the beach and sea to my other side.

on 3 of the occasions I was out there my kids found corn snakes in the hotel grounds, the grounds keepers used to kill them, although harmless, over here cost you about £100 to buy one |

Before they closed & re-located in Portugal, the local dive shop used to put flavours into the last filtration of AIR for your scuba tanks - strawberry & custard did it for me lol
Fresh air in this country has to be from the foot hills of the Cairngorm's in particular the Glen Bruar estate where my cousin & I shoot from time to time. Cold, crisp, ouderless except for a tiny hint of pine & on the odd occasion it's still, perfectly silenced! |

Not true, as I don't get the same feeling when I landed in Paris/Barcelona/Florence etc...
They are other great cities that I love, however, I have chosen London and this country as my home! |
