I get all 3 too (not that I send that many messages in all fairness) but it's not so much annoying, obviously a little disappointing, but if I'm not right, I'm not right, that's just the way it is, you have to move on and accept it.

Most annoying?

Turning up to meet an Amazonian girl in Steel heeled 'fuck me' shoes, only to find some northern bint in dressing gown, slippers and a fag hanging out of her mouth who (after 20 seconds of hacking coughing) blithely asks 'eeee, were it today pet?'

Whilst none of them particularly bother me (as I appreciate how much a dime to the dozen we are) I never quite understood the delete followed by a block - but I guess they're worried about follow up messages - which I don't send anyway.

I don't. If someone is interested its great to hear back from them as i was interested in the first place. If they don't then i don't waste time worried about it. I am always surprised when people make a fuss about it as it isn't worth crying over.

Really?!! You think because someone coughs up a fiver they automatically stop becoming obsessive?!! Struggle to understand your logic. Then again I struggle to understand the arrogance of some people who seem incensed that mere mortals are not beating a path to their door!

I delete probably about 95% of my messages without opening. I dare say a large percentage of posters will think I'm rude as they've read my profile blah, blah and they've met it!

Not counting the text speaking, under 40s, from outside London, the married, short, Dom men really read my profile and saw I wasn't looking for them but wrote any way!

Some people convince themselves they meet the criteria when they don't!

haha i always think that too

you see it so many times on here when people moan about other, not mailing, not meeting etc and people always say oh well their loss as a way to make them feel better

if they wanted to meet you or mail you they would so how is it their loss?

Being a gent I always treat others with courtesy and respect - all three of those are pretty rude so to be honest, if that is how a person is, at least I know and know not to bother.

For me I would have to say that the most frustrating thing is when you're emailing back and forth and then you simply get ignored. A simple thanks but no thanks only takes a second and costs nothing - just like good manners.

Wishing Everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just because one has ticked all the boxes stated in another person's profile, does not mean that he/she has the magic ingredient - chemistry!

I have had very thoughtful messages from peeps who had dissected my War and Peace profile.

However, something in their messages would put me off them, like a sense of neediness/desparation etc...

Or they are just not physically attractive to me.

Since I don't get that many messages, having an allegedly intimidating profile must have helped, it would rude for me not to answer the handful of messages I receive each day.

However, I draw the line at replying to crass one-liners from peeps who have clearly not read past the first paragraph of my profile.

I don't message anyone asking to meet so all 3 mean zilch to me.

I truly think the majority of guys on here are good guys, it is the few who have unrealistic expectations about what swinging as a single guy will deliver.

It is these that have less than 5 words on their profile..

User names like Porsche man as that usually works better with Eastern Europeans calls girls.

Stuff like Monster cock looking for a warm home.. no no no...

'I am a fireman, I am a fireman, did I mention I am a fireman' in the profile text, actually I wash the fire engines but will get a borrow of someones helmet and jacket and quickly take my pic..

With me you will orgasm more times than with any other guy..

"whats the most annoying???

1. Having a message read then deleted.

2. Having a message read, deleted and blocked.

3. Having a message unread and deleted.

"

In reverse order:

3. As they may have done a bulk delete and you are collateral damage. Hence why sometimes guys send a message again.

1. Well at least they opened it. Shame they don't have the time to respond...

2. They opened it and assuming the message was civil are not adult or emotionally mature enough to reply no thanks.

I've had a few no thanks back and I have been polite back, but this is the rare exception.

To be honest if a woman does 1 or 2 above I'd most certainly *never* be interested in them again, no matter how hot they are. I want a woman who is mature enough to face up to problems with someone, not act like they are at school. - May sound harsh but on a dating site I have found it a very good indicator; unfortunately!

cheers.

By that logic you could say none supporters can only send reply emails and not make first contact.

Trying to stop "annoying" things by charging for them won't really stop it. Other ways and means of been annoying will become apparent!

I don't go with the scattergun approach, if I've taken the time to compose a relevant mail to someone, rather than a cut & paste extension of my profile, I like to get a response, even if it's "Fuck off, ugly loser" (Yeah, thanks for that ***** ****, I got that message loud and clear!)

I do realise that not everyone possesses the same mental faculties as me, I'm lucky to be an erudite chap, a man of the world, so I try to make allowances for the Retard Factor on here - some people are just mouth-breathers and the fact they look great doesn't preclude them from being unable to process the large amount of interested parties who are responding to THEIR advertisement.

I can handle rejection with good grace, I'm not so good at handling ignorance from fuckwits who are inviting intercourse (social first, then perhaps sexual), yet find it impossible take 30 seconds to say "thanks but no thanks". It's not rejection to simply delete mail read/unread/and block, it's pig ignorance, I don't care how much mail you are getting. It's the equivilent of meeting someone in person, someone who purports to be open and friendly, who, when you smile and say hello, ignores and blanks you.

True, no-one should feel obliged to enter into protracted correspondence with someone not suitable, it's down to choice whether you want to be polite and civil, or show that you are possibly the kind of person who is only interested in what YOU can get out of meeting people here, no-one else counts.

I know naming and shaming is not allowed, so I do have a shit-list somewhere else, it isn't hard to find....

One or two people here who have been messed about by timewasters may like to sit down for a minute and consider the friendly, attractive couple they were falling over themselves to meet, but who suddenly started ignoring them, provoking more and more desperate missives as to why there was now silence.

Maybe, just maybe, that profile was a bogus one created via proxy by a disgruntled single man who is teaching them that payback can be a bitch(and fucking hilarious)

Civility costs nothing, as you sow, so shall you reap.

It can't "always" be number 3 as there is no way of knowing whether the mail has been read or not before it was deleted.

"Absoflogginlutely

I've sent you a photo of my cock, seeing as I'm often just passing Inverness on my way from Coventry to Warwick. I demand you send me your mobile no so I can arrange a shag. "

Let me just get my specs ...

"Surely its not that difficult for people just to say no thanks?"

No, but typing it hundreds of times can be dull

Neither bothers me, Life is too short to dwell on that. I just move on, and look forward to meeting someone/people whose boat I rock.

Another site that I won't name has a button to send a very polite thanks for your message but I'm not interested button. This is the best option in a long way I think as you know what the score is!

Other than that anything that's read but not answered sends the same message in a more abrupt way

Unread is annoying as you don't know if a decision has been made or now.

So, if any site admins are reading a button to send a polite thanks but no thanks would be great! And to the ladys of the site.... if there was one would you use it??

"whats the most annoying???

1. Having a message read then deleted.

2. Having a message read, deleted and blocked.

3. Having a message unread and deleted.

"

The best thing to do is delete the message from your sent items after you have sent it. Then you never know what the recipient done with it lol. Well you do if they reply.

in a word all 3 are communication and that is what the internet is about.

swinging goes one better, because if you hit it off with someone ,it is supercharged and outweighs the ballance of the so called rejection.

surely you missed a 4th option ...

a couple actually replying then agreeing to meet - so gotta find an excuse NOT to meet!

as 3 today have after in EACH case a long exchange of messages and coming to agreement to meet today have (1) had an emergency, (2) unable to travel because of bank holiday train services, and (3) girlfriend just phoned wanting to go out tonight !!!
