Does anybody else sometimes see "sparkles" in their eyes... For anyone with a PS3 it's kinda like those white/blue dots flying around on the loading screen when you first turn it on...
I sometimes randomly see these, no idea why or what they are but they fly around in all different directions, appearing in clusters of maybe 50 or so then disappearing after a few seconds...

I've seen floaters before but these are illuminated, they come and go randomly... I see them around certain people sometimes - usually the same people too, it's really strange. Not sure what to think... I used to see them a lot when I was younger, not so much now but occasionally I do see them... I've tried searching on our trusty friend Google but some random ideas and nothing really seems to accurately describe them... |

It's basically light refracting off the little microscopic strands in your aqueous humour, the high viscous, jelly like liquid in the back of your eye.
If you see it a lot you should see an optometrist or ophthalmologist. |
