Does anybody else sometimes see "sparkles" in their eyes... For anyone with a PS3 it's kinda like those white/blue dots flying around on the loading screen when you first turn it on...

I sometimes randomly see these, no idea why or what they are but they fly around in all different directions, appearing in clusters of maybe 50 or so then disappearing after a few seconds...

I've seen floaters before but these are illuminated, they come and go randomly... I see them around certain people sometimes - usually the same people too, it's really strange. Not sure what to think... I used to see them a lot when I was younger, not so much now but occasionally I do see them... I've tried searching on our trusty friend Google but some random ideas and nothing really seems to accurately describe them...

It's basically light refracting off the little microscopic strands in your aqueous humour, the high viscous, jelly like liquid in the back of your eye.

If you see it a lot you should see an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Thankyou for that! The graphic on that page is exactly what I'm seeing... Top job
