this event is not what it was bonfires everywhere when i was young 40 houses on our road at least 6 bonfires, also it is a few years since i seen any kids with a guy , they used to be outside pubs and shops

I know what you mean, we used to have bonfires that took weeks to build. Then the whole street would get round it, fireworks would be let off. Brilliant times.

I like used to like bonfire night but its lost its appeal,bit weird really as its my birthday too,havnt seen many fireworks this year either

Dreading it and glad when over as my lab is terrified of fireworks which us weird as her dad was a gun dog .
