Tomorrow it's the 2015 Million Mask March - an Anonymous organised anti-austerity march in London.

It's all going to end in tears, isn't it?

Media attention will probably be taken away from the majority peaceful protesters by a minority of fuckwit arseholes who ramraid Fortnum and Mason or shit on a war memorial or something. You can p_edict how it's going to go.

Be nice if the protesters took a look at the quiet dignity and pride exercised by those who took part in the protest last week for the release of that Marine in prison.

Let's hope so.

It certainly did, it was lovely to see complete morons and idiots pissed out of their heads and puking around the centre of London. Not just another night in London - it is a shame they don't have the balls to actually stand up so people can see who they are and then they come up with a cogent argument and solution! Complete thuggery and not even pretence at solving anything - they have totally pissed me off!!!

Sadly any peaceful March will have some trouble makers in there, ready to have a go at the police when they get the chance. Then as many have said the March will be remembe_ed for the violence, as opposed to the March itself

Because idiots don't vote but then complain when they don't get represented.

Pensioners vote.

Pensioners get really well treated by all governments because of this.

Young people typically do not vote especially the 18-25 bracket so they get fucked over by nearly every government because we'll it makes no difference if they do, not like they were going to vote for them anyway.

This is why groups of floating voters like minority groups get such disproportionately strong representation because they will take their votes to any party that does as they ask so they all pander to them.

People who always vote labour because "thatcher" or some other shit that is no longer relevant for instance the tories won't treat them well because they'll never vote tory and labour won't treat them well because they're gonna vote labour anyway.

But then again most people from their opinions based on headlines alone and never check sources so it's probably a good thing they don't vote

I thought it was a bit of a damp squib, with most arrests for 'not going home after 9pm'! Bearing in mind how much the press like to egg the protesters on so they can get some good copy, it looks like most didn't rise to the bait.

Shame Russel Brand didn't turn up, I'd have liked to see him get egged, but I guess he doesn't have a book/film out this year

I belive that's only certain junior doctors.

But given they're change ginger their rewards set up so they don't get extra for unsociable hours (for instance in my work they'd get between 22-33% extra on top of their basic for the hours they work) it's not a great offer

Its kinda like me telling you you have to work what would normally be an overtime shift for normal pay

It's not a pay rise by any stretch of the imagination, it's a degree of mitigation against some pretty whopping pay cuts - and that 11% is already a _eduction from 15%-19% suggested earlier in the process. The "junior" doctors terminology isn't helping this debate, because that makes you think of newly qualified 23 year olds who can't find a vein, but it covers all doctors up to consultant level. What's being proposed is pretty shit, to be fair - I never usually condone strike action but this is one where I think they'll be justified.

Not at all.

Unsociable hours or overtime is Way more than an 11% level.

Because it's not "when we need you" it's now including nights and weekends.

I get 30% extra for working weekday nights I'd be pissed if they said actually were going to slash that to 11% and make you work random days at the weekend too.

Indeed it would be best if the government lifted the silly limits they place on spaces for training doctors (universities have to turn away better qualified British students and take forgiven students when they hit the cap)

Problem is the staffing increases needed are due to training requirements basically a minimum of a decade away from being done assuming you went into full force this year

It's still more complicated than that too lol.

Friends who are doctors have tried to explain how their rotas/overtime/work hours work and it's just indecipherable insanity.

Comming from a strictly planned factory shift perspective I just can't get my head around it.

It seems like they just go into work and basically hope by the time they're about to fall asleep on their feet that someone comes to relieve them

What I always find funny is people who describe themselves an anarchists are usually the same types who complain about Tony Blair being a war criminal that the war in Iraq was illegal and various other crap about international politics.

When really that's the last place anarchy exists.

If you're strong you do as you please people may say you're breaking rules or laws and that it's illegal but they can't do anything to stop you there is no great over arching order or system every country is truly free to do as they chose.

It's just they must face the consequences of any action they choose.

And the stong survive and prey on the weak.

Public? Nah I'm private.

Shift workers love :p

Overtime is anything Iver your contracted hours.

Unsociable is anything where your doing your contracted hours at unusual times.

Double days (morning and afternoon alternating) 22%

Nights 30%

Days (9 to 5) flat basic

6 day shift (Sunday Monday Tuesday, one week then , Wednesday Thursday Friday the next with 8 week alternates of 8 days off and 6 days straight but 12 hour shifts) 33%

Week day overtime 133%

Weekend overtime 150%

But NHS seems to work on the principal of "oh god there's no one else please dont go home and stay longer"

Unfortunately for the genuine proponents of free speech, where anonymity shouldn't be an issue. For every genuine person who understands the issues and the influence, unified public opinion can have, there is a band wagon jumper and a plain and simple trouble making miscreant.

Fair question, it could be all sorts of reasons, legit or otherwise. Be interested if anyone actually KNOWS the answer.

Meanwhile, I'd not have a problem unmasking protestors with a water cannon ... In the name of moderation, of course.

Million people march peacefully through London against an Iraq war... Tony Blair goes in anyway.

Nobody gets anywhere with peaceful protests... Mandela learnt that"

You genuinly believe the poll tax riots is what ended Margaret Thatchers leadership?

And you genuinly believe violent protest is the only way to affect change?

I think the peaceful protest by Mandela had a huge impact. It galvanised most of the world to his cause.

Compare the reaction to his protest and the support it achieved to those of his ex wife...

Two things change things..

Bad or

Loss of profit

Nobody gives a shit about galvanised support... The white south African government certainly didn't!

Neither did the US government in fifties America...

Martin Luther king got nothing but shot... Whereas when they burnt down quite a few city's... Things changed a little faster

Changed my mind they inju_ed six horses by throwing fireworks at them. Then turned on their own punching a female student in the face when she tried to stop them.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck wits indeed!!!!!!!

I'm GLAD you all have finally woken the F up to what our goverment has done to us because of "what you voted for"

I came across sea of brollies dancing in the rain

As the colours of the rainbow danced people there were saying

They were sick and ti_ed of charges lies from their TDs

They were shouting and angry too much Austerity.

Now the people are rising in the villages and towns

A million umbrellas march as rain falls to the ground

There’s a sea of determination as they out across the land

They cannot give any more time to make a stand.

So come all you lads and lassies time to march for liberty

Time to take our country back our pride and dignity

Never again will be bound it’s time to break free.

In other words...

I gotta feeling where I used to be numb.

I can feel it now rushing through my blood.

I’m stronger than I ever thought I was,

and now I found another way out of here.

All these words are not enough

Now these words mean so much

I’m gonna break out

I’m gonna break free

Not gonna think twice

You’ll never stop me

Don’t even try

I’ll knock you down

I’m saying hello to a new dream

I’m taking it back what’s left of me

Don’t even try,

You can’t stop me now!

I’m gonna break out!

Activism is the only thing that is going to change things in this country, and in other countries accross the globe.

What you're saying about Anonymous, Anarchists and Anti-capitalist activists, are the same things that were said about the suffragettes.

The women posting on these threads owe their freedom and rights to militant activism.

"Nobody should be allowed to protest masked ...

We have a hard fought for democracy in this country, imperfect though it might be, and therefore you can protest peacefully without fear.

Masjing up is covering up more than just your ugly mug"

Will you protesting unmasked when they use your own computer to take a picture of you after going through your internet history - awaiting hackers to hack into the your considerable data and raiding your bank account, identity etc

Your extreme example is perfectly valid in a bizarre way!

I'll be honest with you... As you like to follow me like a car crash! .

I/we never use peaceful protest!

It's an utterly pointless waste of energy!.

What you do is hinder the company financially as much as possible while smearing them with as much negative publicity as possible, this is often helped through violence or at least threats of violence (trust me the companies or the police will use just as much violent reaction) these tactics have been "learnt" through process and work the best!

That's not a statement that I'm pro this way or against..

It's just the way it is!

This made me chuckle;

People across Britain have voiced their support for the dominant economic system, it has been confirmed.

After protesters gathe_ed outside Parliament last night to point out that the world is unfair, millions decided they would rather be poor than be those people.

Office drone Nikki Hollis said: “I’m underpaid, under-represented in parliament, sexually objectified in the media and igno_ed at home, but at least I’m not some bellend in a £40 Guy Fawkes mask.

“I’m sure this probably makes me a quisling running dog but the main thing is, I’m not an arse.”

March organisers complained about the lack of media coverage in a statement reprinted in The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent and read out on the BBC, Channel 4 and The Shopping Channel.

They insisted  that setting off fireworks and burning police cars would make everyone realise that Starbucks is horrid.

Hollis added: “I know that big businesses are probably evil but on the other hand, Starbucks has never blown a whistle two inches from my fucking ear when I’m trying to get the bus.”

They Take from one give to another [oversea's]

Our goal now is to be unified

Take my hand be my brother, be my sister.

For a very, VERY LONG time Unity took a backseat sliding us further into regression.

Society blind by color

Why hold down one to raise another?

Discrimination now on both sides

Seeds of hate blossom further

The world is heading for mutiny

When all we want is unity....

When all this is over and we have our new system of government the police who have assaulted people at the demonstrations need to be brought before the courts and put in prison for assault and thrown out of the the force and their salaries and pensions given to their victims

For people who defend police men and behavior these stand over men are culpable in Extortion which is a crime they are the Enda's storm troopers and bully boys. Irish people cannot lose this one otherwise we are not thing but slaves to their greed. If the police had been doing their jobs half the politicians and their mates would be behind bars for corruption but they are corrupted by a corrupt system its rotten as is the courts

By the very nature Police men are attracted to that lifestyle because they can practice their suppression like prison officers they like control and treating people like they are some sort of low life. But when you take away the uniform what have you got?

All I see is a suppressive person a thug in a uniform.

Generally I have found them to be quite rude and arrogant bit like the old parish priest another suppressive type who liked to tell others how to live their lives while carrying on corruption and abuse behind closed doors.

Did you not ever wonder how all the pedophiles got away with it over the years if it was not with the help of police men and politicians

I mean why would you do a coppers job it its not exactly a happy sort of business is it. So if you Take away the Uniform and what have you got Cowards and bullies that's what.

Personally I do not like people like that because they do not like themselves. I generally feel quite ill when I have been in their company. I do not recognize uniforms never had and never will.

If you loved yourself you you would not do it, and so they inflict their pain on others they are pain bodies on their earthly plane and I detest bullies and cowards because I was the victim of it.

By The way if any coppers are reading this if you have done noting wrong you have nothing to worry about and the rest of you should go and seek help you are sick spiritually and mentally

Power does what it does, although I agree with every word you said and history proves you right in many ways, the system won't change, humans aren't going to evolve in 5 years let alone 2000 years.

We've got to mitigate against our own failings and that means we have to stop putting power into individuals hands!.

The UK is a democracy, ruled by a party, voted for by the people. The power as you put it, isn't in the hands of an individual.

I think you're confusing democracy with dictatorship.

By The way if any coppers are reading this if you have done noting wrong you have nothing to worry about and the rest of you should go and seek help you are sick spiritually and mentally"

I know the type of people you mean. They won't seek help, they think they have done nothing wrong. They don't think like us, they can't even think like us - they just don't have the ability to.

People are there to be controlled, used and abused, according to them.

" When all this is over and we have our new system of government the police who have assaulted people at the demonstrations need to be brought before the courts and put in prison for assault and thrown out of the the force and their salaries and pensions given to their victims

Edinburgh.

An artical came up on my news feed about Osbourns new tax laws are set up in a way so you don't have to pay tax till you hit £97,000. I thought ah the independent putting it to rights...

Nope it was the Torygraph telling its readership how to avoid tax under the new system. Fml

The most amusing thing is that Warner Brothers own the rights to the Guy masks and is paid a licensing fee each time one is sold

You couldn't make it up!

But this is the thing. Anonymous aren't against people making profits, they know it's reasonable that people profit from others wants.

They're against corruption, they're against an unjust system. They're in police records right now, wonder what's gonna happen next and why police records are online?

"Tomorrow it's the 2015 Million Mask March - an Anonymous organised anti-austerity march in London.

It's all going to end in tears, isn't it?

Anonymous you say, but pricks like Russel Brand can't help lifting their masks when a camera is pointed at them. Hope he keeps his ego in check and keeps his mask on tomorrow it's not the Russel Brand march.

This one, on the other hand, is less highly evolved "

You're not such an unevolved troll your self really, are you?

Of course, just not more profit than they think is fair.

All and any system is unjust against someone somewhere. It's unavoidable.

We simply hope for a system that's fair to more than its unfair to.

"No this goverment id fucking everyone over....spsrt from(yes pensioners).... the rich list and the massive companies whom cant pay there taxes but i imagine make massive donations ...nurses,police,services,middle,lower....all fucked over by osborne...austerity=your dumb eniugh to vote for us,now give us your hard earned money."

This is the same old argument that the people are either too stupid or too selfish to vote the correct way. The argument only has any traction with those who are unlikely to vote Tory anyway. If you want other people not to vote Tory insulting their intelligence or integrity is probably not the best way forward.

They're doing more than hope about it, they're proactive about changing it. And that's all anyone needs to do, be proactive.

----

Also Anonymous doesn't mean you have to hide who you are, it means you're a part of a collective of people who are mostly igno_ed...have no face and don't really matter in the system they are fighting against.

And going off history the main people who had the power to change anything were those with influence, who's needs are not igno_ed - they got that their lives were better and others deserved that quality of life too, whereas those being oppressed were too busy trying to survive to do anything much (although they did plenty collectively, more damage was caused to them in the process).

Past revolutions involved killing the oppressors, murder, because they would not listen. Now we moan about statues getting damaged and property being damaged (which isn't great obviously) but these attacks are attacks on the system that holds people back. A lot of people don't get how people work, how protests work, and how protests evolve into violence because poverty is violence in the first place, denying people their rights is violence to them. The system, as it is, perpetuates violence.

Anonymous isn't one person or even a group of people, there aren't membership numbers or club meetings... anonymous is anyone, everyone, and no one.

I don't know what world you live in but it's definitely not the same one I live in and glad I am that it's not and never will be.

Who was it that said "things aren't what you think they are but what you think, they are". Keep your world well from mine please.

what austerity?there are people who genuinely need help but too many in this country not willing to get up n look after themselves, culture of entitlement seems to be ingrained these days,to quick to look for handouts rather than ask,how can I support myself?the fact animals were attacked just shows what a waste of space some of these so called protestors are, pathetic!

So according to you all poor people (and everyone else who earns less than 97k) no longer have to pay tax?

Wow surely this is amazing news for all of us. That's the majority of the population now not having to pay tax.

Surely the most liberal and progressive move against poverty in history
