How many of you....?

After yesterday's '3 word message to bad drivers' thread, how many of you think you'd be able to pass today's (admittedly pretty basic) test?

Be honest now

25 years after I passed the first one? Not a chance!

I'll never be a middle lane wanker though!

Me the English test is easy. Not as easy as Egypt admitted but I learnt to drive elsewhere and did motorways, adverse weather, & all the different sections

I'd not pass. Chances are I'd be arguing with the examiner about what constitutes good road craft with my manoeuvring vs their by the book, unrealistic driving standard they test

I just passed mine 2 months ago. Definitely using that as an excuse for how I act on the road.

Chances are you would pass then... They can tell if someone's experienced and fundamentally safe, they don't care how you do stuff as long as you do it safely

But I don't hold the wheel at ten to two and don't even get me started on push/ pull the steering wheel. As for the emergency stop, last examiner was a bit put out when I shouted at the little fucker for running into the road

I don't think I'd pass, to be honest I have no idea how I passed first time 16 and a bit years ago!! My driving instructor and I would just chat about shit the whole two hours!! So much so my parents moaned at me if I didn't pass first time I'd have to find a new instructor!! I did do it in an automatic though so I did cheat a little bit!

Ten to two is a myth... As is push pull!

Getting sweary might be a little bit discouraged though

Worrying how many people just shrug and say no...

Everyone thinks they are the best driver in the world but can't be, cos I am

If you really want to know, get tested.. (Can you take the truth? lol). You don't need to go and retake the govt test, Get tested by someone like the Institute of Advanced Motorists, or ROSPA

Doesn't cost a lot, and can be fun.
