Love the big displays though and someone next door has put Ditto up with an arrow pointing in their neighbour's direction

When I lived in the Philippines they use to put the Christmas decorations up in September. The beginning of the -Ber "brrr" months lol.

Very odd, but very festive and cheerful during that time (could get annoying quick).

Found it funny that you could have a bbq on a white sand beach during Christmas day.

My old neighbour used to do their £850k house up with lights. They left the lights on way too late, used to flash my bedroom up.

They also left the wooden 2x4 frames up all over the front of the house year round. Looked liked total shit.

I did see a whole shop wall of Xmas cards in August. It's only my few dwindling relatives that send cards - the others just text some kind of sanitised typo-laden press release thing.
