It is rather nice getting so many compliments but a compliment alone won't guarantee a reply let alone a meet.
Humour tends to get a more reliable response from me.  |

Yes, I feel a bit guilty sometimes if it sounds like a genuine compliment, so I often reply and say 'Thank you, but I am sorry I am looking for something different....' |

If I give a compliment, you can bet it is genuine. I don't need or want to "blow smoke" just to get into someone's good books.

I reply sometimes but then you've opened up the lines of communication and 99% of the time it leads to them wanting to chat more and then asking for a meet
I guys could just accept a thanks for the compliment and leave it at that then I might say thank you more often because if I'm interested beyond that I'll make sure they know about it |

I'm never impressed by obvious compliments. "You have a great body!" is one i just scan over. I'd rather they complimented me on something that took more than a cursory glance to see. |

Yes I love the compliment... "you're absolutely stunning". They never used to have an idea what I looked like so it was an at it, thinking why not say my pics, not me personally.
As for compliments now, it's still as they've probably been said to the prior 100 females they messaged. |
