Lots of little things make me feel that wave of joy like your heart could burst, and it changes a lot of the time too.
Taking in washing that's been dried on the line and the way it smells. The smell of the seasons changing. The feeling that someone you love cherishes you back (I don't get that very often so it's precious when it happens). Music. The sense of achiement when trying something new, even if it doesn't work out. |

Losing my work phone.
That made me happy, even though it was full of dodginess - I was free of the who work/social media nonsense for a whole week.
And then work kindly sending me a new one for free and, guess what? Reams and reams of my old (dodgy) contacts are back on it.

Life...I'm alive, makes me one lucky motherf**ker! I mean, come on, on the scale of this universe, phew, what were the chances off all these molecules meeting up and arranging themselves in this exact specific order just to make me? I mean really? Practically none! And once I die and all my molecules dissipate, they'll never ever re form this way again...
A billion times luckier than winning the lottery this 'being alive' lark
