Sanity is more complex than the universe itself, because if everyone was the same, there'd be no different perspectives to see from and progress would never be made.
However, if everyone functioned in a creative and progressive mindset, who would carry out the repetitive tasks that make up the bulk of our societies requirements?
And what if being insane was not classed insane, but merely a coping mechanism for dealing with emotions and memories that cannot be contained within a conventional mind?
So channel hopping could be abstractly linked to such behaviour as the brain cannot handle boredom, and has no naturally developed instinct to manage this relatively new feeling in the general population? |
