"That's not good. Double up on ibuprofen and paracetamol and have a hot bath
Oh, and if it's not shifted by Sunday, call in sick and go see a doctor!"
It happened to me, very similar. Get to Dr's, don't mess about!! I ended up with physio & acupuncture |

"Woke up fine sat down on chair had breakfast went to get up an sheer pain in my lower back can't bend or sit will a massage sort it"
See the out of hours doctor. It could be many things but we can't possibly say if a massage will sort it. |

Do not have a hot bath...
If inflamed will make it worse.
Use ice packs
Keep moving
Regular pain relief
If you get worse ( have problems with passing water) may need trip to A & E.
See Gp if still bad on Monday.
I slipped a disc 5 years ago.. Best thing I did and still do is visit a chiropractor.

"Well I have a trapped nerve in my back 20 years of gardening caused it"
ouch sounds painful :O
when you see your GP, get him to refer you to a pain management team (here the team is in the general hospital, and took a couple of months for the referral to go through, so get on it asap then you go direct to them) |
