Personally I think it's a bit miserable. It's only kids having a bit of harmless fun, they don't get the chance very often any more.
If you don't like it or don't wish to participate put a sign on your door, that way you shouldn't be disturbed. |

There is a difference with being miserable and not answering the door as kids thesedays will throw eggs at windows or scratch your cars and think it's funny.........where as parents who stand at the end of your driveway sending kids to the doors is wrong as they don't know who is going to answer
