or
situation

Your strength
Your development ares and does you personal development plan action speak to the development areas....
Know the company strategic objectives and how you contribute to them in your current role and the new one.
If managing a team, if you underperform as a team, you carry the accountability for that however, , if you achieve as a team, it's your team's success.

Research the company and competitors. Know your role requirements. Understand why the company would need you and what you can uniquely bring to them. Don't be arrogant but do ask questions that are more probing. Don't discuss money during the first inter_iew, you should already have an idea of compensation - negotiations are for later. |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
Research your route so you're not late. Make sure you are neat and clean. Make eye contact, smile often, and hide your hands if they shake.
Although I didn't get my promotion so not sure you should take any notice of me |

Know the company.
Know how the role you're applying for fits in.
Answer positively and show you're proactive can work alone as well as part of a team.
Think before answering, don't be afraid to pause, ask for question to be repeated.
If a panel: look at and engage all members.
Arrive on time.
Dress to impress.
Best of luck! |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
If you're internal, as appears to be the case, talk to people in equivalent roles....and if any, people who work under the role you're going for. Find out what the challenges are, and what they think the solutions are.
They may not be the right solutions, but they'll give you a start. |
