And do they? "
She described an incident in detail that I hadn't told anyone about. It was a ridiculously mundane thing but she described it word for word and I don't mind telling you, it properly freaked me out at the time. I didn't recognise one of the people she described so I rang my Mum when I got home and relayed the description. She went quiet and the told me it was her Dad who died when I was three months old. It was all a bit odd. I've never seen another psychic since. |

I've got several decks of tarot cards. They are a great aid to meditation they give you the opportunity to think about your past, present and future in ways you might previously not have considered. They are insensate and have no ability to predict the future, tell a stranger about their past or give you guidance that is something else all together and the guidance you get comes from within your self. |

Tarot cards were originally just cards used for playing games - their occult etc connection came later on.
And, as I'm still aware that the $1 million challenge from the Randi Foundation (they should have been involved with swinging, with a name like that!!) has been offering since 1964, for anyone able to demonstrate psychic abilities, under laboratory conditions has still not been claimed, many, many decades later...
I'm inclined to feel that there is slim chance that the people who claim to have ability to predict the future etc, by cards, crystals, ape shit or whatever means, have much chance of doing so. It can be hard to accept that there probably isn't this magic out there that I'd like there to be.
I've met a psychic but not had a tarot reading. I've also seen Derren Brown convince others that he really is psychic and has all kinds of ways of predicting stuff etc, when he admits that he doesn't, it's just an act. |
