we've been using it successfully from the release date but this latest update has to use a technical term, buggered it!! |

would it be for wireless or through the ethernet plugin port that you have lost your connection
if its wireless check that your wireless modem is working as wireless modems do fail
have you turned it off by accident usually the shift f keys or by a switch
ethernet port is check your wires
the other part is check your drivers sometimes uninstalling them and a restart can bring your drivers back again |

its seems to be a common problem with windows 10 after upgrading to windows or after an upgrade

Thank you. We'll have a look at that. We downloaded new drivers late last night and if that doesn't work and the article you've linked doesn't help further we will revert back. Shame, because apart from this we both like Windows 10. |
