Wots the difference with what we call evening meal 'tea' or 'dinner'? Or 'dessert' or 'pudding'...same thing isnt it?

I think it depends on what time you eat. If you eat 4-6 in the afternoon then it's tea. If you eat later it's dinner.... that's if your posh obviously

US commoners 'ave dinner at twelve and tea at tea time.
