in light of recent threads about cowboy taxes on sugar and bacon or whatever, someone has to ask the question...

When are they going to tax religion?

If so, which religions?

Surveys say there are more Jedi in London than Catholics, should they pay more because of their numbers in that area?

What do the people think?

The government will probably do it someday

I say tax all religions.

We could start on a Sunday and say ...... Pass a plate around the congregation..Just a wild idea.

Just sayin, no offence like, each to their own, don't knock it till you try it, goosey goosey gander and all that.

.

That's why they like to get you as a child, it's hard to break free of indoctrinated beliefs!.

Even some of the leading biologists and palaeontologists have firm creation beliefs despite the evidence to suggest otherwise, but then that's exactly what the main religions ask you to do... Suspend reasoning and logic

If religions get tax exemptions, can I claim back the vat from my cinema ticket when I go to see the next star wars installment?

Some people just belive bollocks for any reason, they get into wild financial schemes and business deals with the same logic!... It sounds really good!!

The trouble with religion is, were giving tax breaks to the fucking gullible and cynical never mind the fact they all think we're better off dead!

It's not completely gullible. You get a bottle of snake oil and a latex nuns outfit for every convert to my religion.

Central

Religions get tax relief, and their cause is unproven - the rest of us have to submit evidence, such as a bus ticket. But it's us providing the tax relief to these myriad skyfairy etc clubs.

Take most of the £millions off religions that us taxpayers are paying, full stop. Scientology, created by a science fiction writer - truth, my arse. Get the dish in our pockets, not theirs.

If your gonna join one, at least join a half decent one, there's a few peaceful ones but Christianity and Islam are the worst two by a fucking country mile.... Peaceful my arse

That's is right to and as well, they have to know who believes and not so everyone would have to sign a paper of some sort.
