Not sure if this will have any affect on some the tools on here but heard about another lady leaving site today because of men harassing her when she won't meet her. Surely women shouldn't get abused for not meeting its 2015 |

Exactly, I think you need to be quite thick skinned to be on this site.
For a woman, who has to deal with the guys who lack the decency to accept no, for whatever reason's given.
For a guy, to deal with rejection and take it like a man, and move on without making an idiot out of himself. |

She possibly didn't block early enough, and there was too much message ping pong.
I'm not blaming her, it's something you figure out with experience.
If a guy won't take the initial no message I will always block as I know it will quickly turn either abusive or whiney.
And sorry, but if you're on here and you're meeting strangers for sex...toughen up! |

In all seriousness though OP, its a big scary world out there. If your friend got scared off by a couple of trolls perhaps fab isn't the place for her, and perhaps making such an ostentatious and dramatic 'I'm not one of those guys look at me' threads isn't the best way to go either |

OP, if your friend has received abuse the tell her to report the culprit, block and delete. Admin will deal with it. It's very chivalrous of you to be her knight in shining armour but I'm sure she's a grown up and can take care of herself. |

If she was getting what she wanted from this site then she'd stay.
We all get shitty messages, some more than others maybe, but we ignore them because these people mean nothing to us and are not gonna become any part of our lives or get near our body, why even care what they say or think? |

I am married and I have children ... does that make me less able to cope with harassment from men on this site, or more needing of a man to help me deal with it or speak up on my behalf? I would say not ... I would say I was less vulnerable because I came on here myself, have met single guys in the past and know how to deal, including using the 'tools' the site gives. I feel as offended by a man seeing me as a damsel in distress, I don't play that role anywhere as its not me .... |
