Blow /Job : " Slang "do fellatio on" sense is from 1933, as blow (someone) off, originally among prostitutes (blow/ job first recorded 1961 in the sexual sense).

Some feel it is a derivation from "blow off" which means to finish off or "blow off steam".

someone answered this the other day, something about it being called a below job and ended up getting shortened.
