Homemade meatballs and sausages from beef mince for 3 meals

Ditto!

My son is a fussy eater, so he won't eat any of the scrumptious food I cooked yesterday. Stew, curry and mushroom soup.

I know what you mean but at least you've got lunch for tomorrow then.

I tend to always cook too much but I freeze the rest or send it to my parents ..I enjoy cooking and did loads yesterday ...stocking up on the healthy soups and curries.

Do you not own a freezer? Cook and freeze enough meals like that and you could have a week of 'cooking free' meals from the freezer.

I'd eat that very happily the only thing nicer than eating something someone has cooked for you (besides sex of course ) is cooking for that someone imo

Yeah but you got to toast the bread and heat up the beans.

All too much for me.

I feel the need to make up food parcels and send then out to you single people or you could all just come over and I'll feed you.

I love cooking, always make too much for one, but then I love food and always eat it, I do massive batches to freeze. I definitely miss cooking for someone else though

That's what I do. I usually do a large lasagne, a moussaka, a chilli con carne, a curry about once a month.

As long as I've got a bottle of wine and some sounds on, I'm a happy chappy in the kitchen

Although it is nice to cook for someone else as well

At the weekend I did shepherds pies, meatballs in tomato sauce, gholash, pasta sauce and chili. Jen did a fish pie. Portioned it up in foil containers. Probably cooked enough to last through to the new year!

Just realised I've not done a shepherds pie since Voddy came up about 3 months ago, not done a fish pie for well over a year. I love fish though and the monger that I use is just outside the market from the butcher that I have been using for about 20 yrs

Gonna invest in another slow cooker, as ma ex ran off with the one that I bought
