His early stuff is genuinely some of the worst acting ever.

If True Detective is anything to go by then I'd definitely say yes. I've only ever seen him in a few films and always thought he was ok. |

He's very Marmite. Good at playing southern characters with a drawl. True Detective series one was brilliant. Interstellar not too shabby in that either.
He has been in some turkeys though but who hasn't? |
