Great South Run

Anyone else running this this Sunday?.

The weather looks like it will be wet so overheating is not going to be too much of a problem.

That and the fact it's late October.

This will be our first Road run,we usually enjoy the Hell Run (South),which also lacks overheating problems as it is

held in early January and involves a dip or two.

Mad?

Noooooooo...

Back to the Future 6 hour enduro for me tomorrow in Surrey but will probably watch the Great South Run on the TV. It's an event I'd like to do if the opportunity arose as I always love running the Portsmouth coastal half and full marathons.

I'm doing it for the 3rd year running. Hope we don't get the headwind we got 2 years ago on the final 2 miles along the seafront. That was like running into a wind tunnel.

Not this year, no. I did it a couple of years ago - the day after one of misscheekychops' infamous Halloween parties not my brightest idea!

Good luck to all those running

Perfect weather conditions today for the run. I managed to knock 3 minutes off my pb and just sneaked under 68 minutes.
