"what does that mean then????
.
That we will win the match, if not the series. "
If we win the match we retain The Ashes anyway as the score will be 2-1 with one Test to go. |

As much as I support ENgland or GB (depending on the sport) we can hardly claim that the England cricket team is truely English as we have at least two other nationalities playing in today's game Irish and South African |

Show me a true Englishman in any capacity. Even the future King of England is of German descent.
My ancestry is quite a mix of flavours too, English, Irish, Welsh & French. My daughter has all those plus Italian!
...but, in the spirit of Christmas, if our Scottish cousins want to root for England then that's fine with me.

We don't throw Poles, that is just wrong as the Poles might get hurt and end up in A&E! |

Probably not much up here at this time of the year as they are too busy chasing the Haggii (yes that is plural of Haggis) around the hills in their "skirts"! |

I know. I tried, but when you got people batting for both sides it's only a matter of time before someone gets caught out at first slip by a bouncer delivered full toss ...and if ya not supposed to be fielding then it's ya own fault if ya missus stumps ya! |

England will have to declare soon and put the Aussies in to bat. Bowl them out on Day Three and win by an innings! |
