Equally though, how often do you see women of under 5'4...sometimes considerably shorter, insisting on only meeting men who are over 6' tall?   |

I don't have a height preference, but with tall guys I really enjoy how petite I feel in their presence. I don't think you'd look ridiculous next to each other. |

No OP it doesn't look ridiculous at all, I've never had a partner over 5'3 and I'm 6'1. They all loved the protectivenss they felt being with someone much taller. |

I love shorter women, I'm 6'4" and my ex was 5'1". II also like going out with a tall lady in heels too though, one of my friends is 6' without heels and the only time she didnt feel ridiculous i heels was going out with me |

there is a big height difference between the Mrs and me, but it doesn't cause us any problems.
Also when you are lying down, height difference don't make that much difference

OP, you've made my day!
I've found on fabs that some women's attraction to taller guys is not so much to the guy but to how they feel. so being with taller guys will mean different things.
Some women like feeling petite as they feel more feminine, they get the chance to wear those killer heels and they feel protected.
On the flip side, some women don't want to strain their neck looking up, want to steal a kiss from time to time and would rather snuggle into their shoulder rather than their armpit (or ribcage for the bigger differences) when walking down the street.
There's no right or wrong and this is how the OP feels. |

I'm 5'2" and my hubby is 6'5" he has to bend down a long way to kiss me lol. It can look a little odd when we're standing together, with him towering over me but it's not really a problem. A lot of our wedding pics were taken with him seated and me standing next to him |

One of the reasons the ex gave for us being ex is that I'm short and he thought we looked ridiculous together. Of course that hasn't prevented him from seeing lots of other short women but as reasons go it was the first time I'd had that one. |

I'm 5'2 and my ex of 10 years was 6'3. Whenever we were out and about I'd get him to walk on the road and me on the pavement whenever I could! Don't think my height bothered him although when we first got together at age 17 he wasn't that tall, had a mega growth spurt when he was 21. Feels nice when you're with a tall guy makes you feel all cute and small and protected. |
