I think only some of them are clone. some collaborators. according to a post I half read. he suggest in the trailer he's been at it all his life. |

After what JJ did with star trek then I'm hopeful for star wars. As long as Lucas is nowhere near it then it should be OK. The trailer looks good though |

Nah. By the time of the original trilogy there were very few of the clones left because of the rate that they aged. One can only assume that the First Order was made up of recruits too. |

Not so, if you listen on the remastered versions of 4, 5 &6 all the storm troopers have the same voice, that of jango fett from attack of the clones |

Well i hope they had better terms and conditions than the clones had! 20 days paid holiday, but that included public holidays! 3 days self cert sick, and the imperial company pension scheme was a well known tax dodge. |

As disney own the rights, their cartoon "rebels" is now to be considered canon. Set somewhere between ep3 and ep4, imperial academies recruit from all over. This was already a recognised thing from before disney's takeover, recruiting from wherever, although the existing clone stormtroopers would consider themselves the first or the elite  |

Eps 1-3 ruined Star Wars for me... Cautiously optimistic for these. Although I still think Disney should just reboot the whole thing with a decent writer! And actually start off with Episode I...

It never fails to annoy me nor amaze me how Lucas constantly changes his mind and the story, chipping a little bit more off the veneer. |

I do feel sorry for Ewan McGregor. He tried his hardest, and the scene with him defeating anakin was a very strong performance. |

That may be so, even though the first storm trooper voice heard in ANH is American. Also they're all varied in heights which wouldn't be the case with clones.
