Spare chair Sunday

Well today we invited a little old lady for Sunday lunch. Its a project Bisto have started and I have to say, It has been very rewarding emotionally.She lives on her own and has really enjoyed today.If you can do the same please do this,it will give you a great sense of happiness

I live a fair way away from my mum (she's originally from the north east) and I can only echo that sentiment ... she loves her weekly outings with her social club and any connection she gets with the outside world. It's a great thing ....

your such a lovely person ali, i did this at christmas one year unfortunatly backfired on me and put me off, but i will reconsider now i got over the trauma.

on a lighter note the thread heading reminded me of the peter kaye holiday chairs sketch
