Australia sex industry laws are determined by the individual States.....Should UK Counties ... Example: Norfolk, Yorkshire ... Determine there own sex industry laws? It could be grand for revenue - everyone flocking to a particular county. Mwah... THOUGHTS PLEASE... |

British law re sex workers is infamously over-complicated and fails to address any of the real problems involved. Also there is already a degree of variation where local police forces choose to turn a blind eye in some areas.
I like the idea, I'd support it in principle although workers would still be vulnerable to abuse and exploitation as they are now. But where would it end? Once local authorities have more freedom in their by-laws, would they be free to set their own laws for drugs, alcohol licensing, speed limits and everything else? : ) |
