Alway try to make a negative into a positive. When I feel like I am stuck in a rut I sit down with a pen and paper, write down what is making me feel that way and then assess where I would like to be in a year. It helps you to focus. Xx |

It depends on what's causing the impasse. Sometimes you just need patience.
I like the 80/20 rule - 20% of our efforts get us 80% of our results. So I'd be looking at what the 20% effort would be, to create most of the changes that I'd want.
If I was unsure what was up then I'd not rush to do anything. I'd talk things through with others, such as friends.
Maybe you cannot change much or any of a situation, except your relationship to it. We're more powerful and in control much of the time when we don't recognize it.
I like to make my life nourishing and fulfilling for me. I need the challenges, freedoms, contentment, rest and expression of my talent and creativity as well as time spent with people who are good for me. If they're not balanced or it's not fulfilling then I'll focus on what I need to do to rejig it so that it's more appropriate.
If I'm at a deadlock then I may need to pause such that I regain my clarity and focus again. Life can be hard but always be prepared to drop what you're doing and reformulate if it's right to do so. |
