For me its a well worded profile, something to see whether there is some kind of compatibility I wouldn't message a profile where I had absolutley no idea if there was any common ground or not, pretty pictures are nice to look at but its the profile that makes me decide whether I'm going to message someone or not

I've responded to guys with very little written on their profile so I'm not overly concerned.....however if i struggled to understand their messages we wouldn't get as far as meeting |

Intelligence, humour, a way with words is a good start. Spelling and grammar is important to me. Someone who gives a good sense of their personality and who I think I would click with. And finally, similar interests to me! |

Gods I hate mobile posting. I just composed an eloquent and witty comment then lost it. I shall paraphrase... cerebral and engaging does it for me, hot pics are plentiful.

For me, a well thought out profile that answers a few questions, but gives you something to base a conversation on.
I like to see what someone considers important on here, and often the way a profile is written clearly illustrates that. I find having to ask a hundred questions is like pulling teeth, and also gets answers that people think I want to hear rather than what they actually think...
Good images are always a plus too - especially when its not a gallery of intimate shots, but shows some thought. |

Besides pics what makes profiles appealing - articulation, confidence, clarity, openness, honesty and mega humour. Sufficient clear verifications help however it's the messages that engage me become the attraction....X |

I gave up messaging women off here about 5 years ago, not because I couldn't get any response, but purely because I found interaction with people I met in real life much easier to get along with

I started in Clubs before being recommended this site. If I haven't met a person first in real life I couldn't care less what their online profile looks like. I don't make first contact through the Internet.

The only reason I read a profile is in case there's a code word for the subject header.
"Look at me! I've read your profile! Can I have a reply now?!"
I message people based on how attractive I find them, not how many words they have included in a profile.

Pictures of the men in the couple. Hate to say it but if your going to meet a couple it tends to be the lady of the house who has the last say in it ever happening so a picture of the male half would definitely stop the last minute..sorry something has come up! Saying in your profile what your not looking for too would be a great help too. |

It should be original...be honest with yourself and others.
Have some solo happy time before you write so the correct brain is engaged.
Draft a copy, go back to it and look at it as if it was someone elses. Ask yourself 'would I want to meet this person?' And 'do I sound like a complete twat'
As already mentioned a level of humour and eloquence helps, but dont go plagiarising anything as your messages will be held up against your profile...so if you are a keats or byron on your profile but can only send monosyllabic wanna fuck messages you may come across as fake. |

I was giving similar advice to a newcomer on the forum two months ago to a guy who then thought it was then perfectly ok to copy and paste my entire profile into his!
What's more he didn't see or admit he'd done anything wrong!
His subsequent postings on the forum revealed him to be a bit mentally unstable...and he attracted the scorn and derision of the entire forum..
24 hours later he deleted and started his own.
48 hours later he was UNLOS.
No, don't plagiarise! |

one that gives a reasonable insight as to what theyre like but not stating the in and outs of a cats bum - dont need at the initial stage to know every little detail about them - also dont like ones where people come across as being something super special - doesnt make us feel inadequate at all btw |

One that gives a sense of the person in a humorous or delicate way. I like to smile at the end of it.
The same with the pics...elegance all the way. There is no need for action shots really. I want to imagine the scenario myself...not replay your previous one in my mind.
Came across one like that this morning and messaged her to say thanks and ask if she could maybe lengthen her prose. She was so shocked she replied. She is in Glasgow so never going to meet her, but a fresh and jaunty profile speaks volumes for what would be to come.  |

For me it's good, clear pics with a low percentage of cock pics (if any) and a humorous , articulate profile!
If they're bloody gorgeous it helps too!
In a couple I like to see at least a few good pics of the MALE too - and if their profile is arsey and demanding it puts me off completely! |
