Its used as a sleep aid, but prescription only over here. But its OTC in america, and in herbal preperations, so you might be able to find it online.

Really ?

I had sleep issues in the past(as I post at 4.54am )

And hard workouts really did work for me.But We are all different,so not saying it works for everyone.

Hope you find a quick solution.

Sometimes a lack of sleep is caused by the brains reaction to stimulus it receives before you go to bed, the tv, music, conversation, the book you were reading, anything that gives the brain "work" to do.

We need to train the brain to rest.

Try this;

Half an hour before bed turn off the tv, music, whatever noise is coming your way. No books, no conversation.

Close the curtains and turn off the lights.

Simply sit in total quiet, in the dark for 30 minutes, then go to bed.

Sure the brain will still be active, but only processing simple stuff.

It's not an instant answer, it takes time to retrain the brain, but it's worth it.

Sweet dreams.....

Hugs to all of you that can't sleep

I have been like this for years!

I usually have a good night's sleep followed by a bad one

I used to work 12 hour shifts on my feet - on those nights I would sleep like a baby!

I have just joined a gym so hopefully it will have the same effect

Though I seem to enjoy the mixed steam room more than the gym equipment

I have had little sleep at night for over 30 years. Nothing alters that. I spend most of my time feeling exhausted. I just don't stress about it and i get on with life !

Not my thing either, extreme measure I know but it really worked for my brother. He was very responsible with it though.

It has to many side effects i want to avoid to be honest. The only reason i would use it is for extreme pain and i am gettin close to that point nowadays ! The lack of sleep has gone on for over half my life so i can cope with that
