It's a proper piggy pie with the jelly in it, nice pastry.

Sometimes warm them up in the zapper for 20 seconds so that the jelly is warm and melty

Kates mom makes the best pickle onions on the planet.

They are crunchy, when you bite them, just like apples, and just the right amount of seasoning and spices.

Always have a big sweet jar full every Christmas, but opened them 2 weeks ago and I'm a quarter way down the jar already

Have to have a mixture of Lea and Perrins sauce, and Daddies brown sauce on hot sausage sarnies, but got to dip the bread in the licker first though

However, in the past I always used to enjoy a refreshing glass of Cider with pork pie…

Take a white plate. Halve or quater the pie and place seductively on the plate. Take one stick of celery and slice into three long strands. Place alongside the pie on the plate. Create a triangle formation with three of Kate's Mums pickled onions on the opposite side of the plate. Dribble hot home made spicy cranberry sauce over the top of the pie and let a small pool form in the well of the plate between the celery and pickles. Cut one or two slices from a barrel of Strong Matured White Stilton and lay on top of the cranberry well. Pepper the plate with walnut and top off with two slices of lightly buttered , fresh ,crispy . cotton wool like ciabatta. Drizzle the whole things with some home made tomato and light chilli salsa......

pick up the plate. Turn to Kate n say .....know what babe.....im still full from dinner......Drop the lot in the bin , fart and wander off to bed xx
