"I am sure he will be gutted you feel this way..."
I know. Comments like the OP must make his fame and riches feel hollow.
PS OP I also don't like him, but I think he's done well, and should be proud. I just think he's a bit too OTT. |

"He might well do! Really can't see the point of what he is doing with the TFI thing again."
It's like all the old groups coming back, money and nostalgia |

You don't see the point! I couldn't be more bloody excited. Loved it in my teens and love the feeling of nostalgia I get from watching it. |

But a very rich Prick with a dream life! That does sort of take the edge off him being a prick.
Oh and his "prick" was banging Billy Piper when she was in her early 20's.
I'd swap him no problems! |

I like him! I listen to him on radio 2 and appreciate his enthusiasm. I can see that others might find it annoying, but I think getting to middle age without becoming cynical and hard is a thing to be valued. |

I was out and about with friends at an event last year and found ourselves having a drink at a table , next table over was Chris Evans and a couple of producers of his radio show , after a minutes mickey taking he came over and said hello and wanted to know why we were at this event ,,,,,, he was very pleasant and genuinely interested in what we were doing and why we were there ( at least he made a very good job of looking interested ) , we certainly walked away thinking nice bloke |

"I'm old school, even though I remember Top gear being about new cars, good and bad! love the combo of Clarkson, Hammond and May. "
One absolute twat and two boring guys aimed at a meat market in global terms - Chris Evans is miles better, solo presenter may not have the same chemistry but he's far less arrogant. |

Think Clarkson was a prick but made me laugh.
Top Gear was due a change, only so many episodes you can watch where they are pretending to be stupid and cock everything up only for it to end well. Became very predictable and boring. Think Chris Evans will bring new life to the show. And I for one am looking forward to it. |

"Is a Prick !"
I used to think that of him years ago in his younger days in TV and then when he took over on Radio 2's Breakfast show.
But he has matured over the years and I have grown to like him.
Plus I have met him in the village near to where I live and was down to earth with no airs and graces. |

I think I could stomach him in a car show far more than Clarkson. "Herp derp I'm too fucking stupid to plug in a plug" in his BMW i8 re_iew was probably the lowest point in my respect for Clarkson as a motoring journalist - assuming we think Top Gear has anything to do with cars rather than comedy |
