"Does anyone get ridiculously giddy when planning to meet someone?"
Good God no! I never allow myself to get our expectations up. 'Plan for the worst, hope for the best' is my motto.
I like to tempt fate by knocking down part of the house just before a meet, while reassuring Mrs ddc "it's okay, they're bound to be a no-show".
Always works

oh my what happened there - what i said was im getting giddy purely on the fact a person on my need to meet list is coming closer to home -
but yes - excitement and nerves before a meet is part of the fun |

I sometimes get excited. I'm usually going through in my head what I'm going to do with him. I used to pace the room before one of my regular partners came over. I hate waiting for someone or the train ride to meet them. I get stupidly horny. |

"Nervous excitment, which is good. The day I don't get that feeling is the day
I call 'time' on meeting them."
Exactly this. The fact we like to chat and love a bit of banter helps the situation we've found but the nervous energy is a real buzz for us. |

I usually have butterflies and feel ridiculously nervous all day!
I think I should do morning meets so I don't have the whole day to blow it out of proportion! |

No nerves here on a first meet although I'm a nightmare in the fact I have to keep sending regular updates and I expect the same in return.
IE I've just left I've arrived that sort of thing .
I find nerves kick in more with me with regular meets . I think that's because after a few meets I have more: to live up to and I want to really impress because now their not a stranger with who I have nothing to prove or lose .
But that's me I'm strange although one F/B did tell me the sane thing happens with her after a few meets the pressure kicks in because you really like the person . |
