I've only just learnt to cook properly this last six months so I'm attempting my first proper Christmas dinner. Sadly it's for one but I'm doing the works! Quite possible that I'll be eating turkey for quite some time to come but I bought three packets of chipolatas to go with it!!
They're my favourite food in the world!! |

"I don't like turkey or Christmas pudding, however, I love pigs in blankets, and have bought some bacon and little sausages to make my own. "
Me too!
I have a stoopid question though... do you think you need to stick them with something or will they just hold together with the fat when they start cooking?
*can still be a dunce in kitchen* |

"They should hold their shape during cooking, IMHO. "
Dirty, cut the bacon into strips and stretch against the back of a knife before wrapping. they should hold against the sausage when cooking.
If in doubt, use cocktail sticks to pin them together. Soak cocktail sticks in ice cold water first though to save them burning

I eat turkey all year round! Mostly on a sandwich with smoked cheese! Hubba hubba!
What's with coleslaw with your Christmas dinner Fabio?? I feel that since I have such weird eating habits, I am at liberty to say that's just plain wrong!!
You don't have gravy with it do you?! |
